When trusting someone to take care of your health, board certification is critical. Dr. Nellestein is a board certified cardiovascular surgeon, comfortable with the surgical aspects of vein care as well as the medical and with 25 years of experience as a physician.

Dr. Nellestein earned his Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, in Bethesda, Maryland. His General Surgery training was performed at Bethesda National Naval Medical Center, in Washington D.C. and his Cardiothoracic training was completed at St. Luke’s hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He had a distinguished 25 year career with the United States Navy and is a retired Navy Captain.
