About Me

Taylor graduated high school and immediately began studying to become a nurse. But she knew long before then that medicine was her passion.

“I was born with two heart defects requiring emergent surgery,” she said. “I’ve always had an interest in healthcare because of this.”

As a nurse practitioner, Taylor is drawn to the care of people with kidney disease and related illnesses – known as nephrology.

“It encompasses not only renal failure, but a variety of other complex medical issues,” she stated. “I care for these patients if they need hospitalization, and follow up with them on an outpatient basis. I truly get to see their progress and am able to form deep relationships.”

And her approach to those relationships is holistic and individualized.

“Every patient needs their care tailored to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs,” Taylor concluded.

When not providing care to her patients, Taylor is mom to a “wonderful daughter,” and enjoys hiking and kayaking, “really anything that gets me outdoors.”
