Blessing Hospital Pacesetters Program

To help you maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, Blessing is proud to be a part of the Quincy Mall Pacesetters program. Participation is free and open to everyone. You will cover 1 mile when you make 2.5 trips around the inside perimeter of the mall.

Since 2008, Quincy Mall has partnered with Blessing Health System to provide an organized mall walkers program, known as Pacesetters. Pacesetters members are provided weigh-ins and blood pressure checks every Tuesday between 7:30 – 10:30 AM. In addition, health educational materials are available throughout the year, all at no cost.

When you participate in the Quincy Mall Pacesetters program sponsored by Blessing, you benefit from:

  • Safe exercise environment: You can get in your steps in a safe, weather-free environment. Simply put on your walking shoes and head to the Quincy Mall. Although you can walk the mall anytime, coming early before stores open means fewer crowds and easier walking.
  • Expert advice: Blessing Health System offers its professional expertise free, and services are available to any interested member of the public each Tuesday at the Blessing Health System kiosk located near Fountain Court. Because the Pacesetters program is staffed by clinical professionals from Blessing Health System, hours may be adjusted occasionally per hospital/clinic needs. As with any screening or wellness event, this service is not intended to replace the healthcare you receive from your regular provider
  • Walking hours: Quincy Mall opens its doors daily from 7 AM to walkers and closes at 9 PM Monday through Saturday (5 PM on Sundays). Quincy Mall is located at 3347 Quincy Mall, Quincy, Illinois.

Blessing Wellness Walks

Blessing’s monthly Wellness Walks are open to anyone interested in exercise to maintain or improve their health.

All of the Wellness Walks are free of charge, and normally begin at 8 AM at the Quincy Mall, however some events may be held at other locations.

The free event starts at 8 AM with a short presentation on a health related topic, followed by the Wellness Walk at 8:15 AM, during which walkers set their own pace. The walk can last as long as the participant wants to keep walking.
