Britni Skirvin, MBA, administrative director, Ancillary Services, Pharmacy, and Supply Chain, Blessing Health System, recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.
Fellow status represents the achievement of the highest standard of professional development. As of January 1, 2025, fewer than 8,700 healthcare executives nationwide held this distinction.
To obtain Fellow status, candidates must fulfill multiple requirements, including passing a comprehensive examination. Fellows are committed to ongoing professional development and undergo recertification every three years.
“The healthcare management field plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to the people in our communities, which makes having a standard of excellence promoted by a professional organization critically important,” says Deborah J. Bowen, FACHE, CAE, president and CEO of ACHE. “By becoming an ACHE Fellow and earning the distinction of board certification from ACHE, healthcare leaders demonstrate a commitment to excellence in serving their patients and the community.”
Britni is a 10-year member of the Blessing staff. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree with concentration in healthcare administration from Ottawa University, and is a graduate of the Blessing School of Radiologic Technology. Britni also holds national certification as a radiology administrator, and is a registered radiologic technologist specializing in radiography and computed tomography.
Her community service includes membership on the advisory board of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute.
