Services Offered
- Bone Density: A quick (10-30 min) scan, painless, low-dose X-ray that measures bone strength to diagnose osteoporosis and assess fracture risk.
- CT: A computed tomography (CT) scan uses a computer to process and combine multiple x-rays taken from different angles and produce cross-sectional images (“slices”) of bones, blood vessels and soft tissue within the body. A doctor’s order and scheduled appointment are required.
- Electrocardiogram (EKG): Electrocardiogram (EKG) is a brief and painless procedure that measures the heart’s electrical activity to evaluate cardiovascular disease. A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.
- In-Motion X-Ray: In-motion x-ray, also known as dynamic digital radiography, is a low dose x-ray that takes a series of images very quickly while the patient is in motion and allows physicians to see the inside of the body as it moves. A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.
- Mammography: A low-dose X-ray imaging procedure used to screen for and diagnose breast cancer, often detecting abnormalities before symptoms appear. No appointment required.
- MRI: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan uses a computer to produce detailed images of organs and tissues within the body. A doctor's order and schedule appointment are required.
- Nuclear Med Testing: Diagnostic imaging test using small amounts of radioactive material (radiotracers) to evaluate organ function and structure. These generally take 30-60 minute. Doctor order is required and no appointment is necessary
- 1.5 MRI: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses strong magnetic fields along with computer-generated radio waves to produce detailed images of organs and tissues within the body. A doctor’s order and scheduled appointment are required.
- PET (Positron emission tomography): Positive emission tomography is a non-invasive nuclear imaging test that uses a safe radioactive tracer to visualize metabolic activity in tissues and organs. The process requires a tracer injection, a 30-to-60-minute wait, and a 30- minute scan while lying still. Doctor order is required and no appointment is necessary.
- X-Ray: Skilled technologists provide x-ray imaging on a walk-in basis. Our facility offers high-quality imaging using digital technology. A doctor’s order is required, but no appointment is necessary.
