Lyndsey Friday, RN, BSN, Emergency Center, Blessing Hospital, has met the requirements, passed the examination and earned national Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) status from the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing.

Nurses who hold CEN status have proven their ability to assess, triage, and stabilize patients in fast-paced settings, and demonstrate high standards in clinical judgment, technical skills, and patient safety.

A graduate of Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences and John Wood Community College, Friday is an eight-year member of the Blessing Hospital Emergency Center team.

The Blessing Hospital Emergency Center is a designated Level II Trauma Center, certified to provide around-the-clock care of severe traumatic injuries and, when needed, able to quickly transfer patients requiring a higher level of care. The Center is also a state-designated Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics, and a key department in Blessing Hospital holding national Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations.  The Blessing Hospital Emergency Center experiences nearly 40,000 patient visits a year.
