Haley Bichsel, MSW, therapist, Outpatient Behavioral Health, Blessing Health System, has earned the status of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Earning the status required meeting a series of prerequisites including passage of a written examination administered by the Association of Social Work Boards, and applying for and receiving licensure from the State of Illinois.

Blessing’s Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic team consists of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatric nurses, neuropsychologists, therapists, case workers, receptionists and psychometrists serving eight counties in the Tri-States. The team helps patients in times of behavioral crisis - assessing and stabilizing - as well as helping patients achieve and maintain a stability. This team had more than 46,000 patient visits last year.
Haley has worked in behavioral healthcare for her five-year career at Blessing Health System, including the inpatient psychiatric unit and Integrated Care as well as outpatient behavioral health.
She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri and bachelor’s degree from Quincy University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Haley, her husband Derek and four children live in Palmyra.
