About Me
Dr. Madhu Dukkipati, MD, FACC, FSCAI, knew very early that he wanted to become a cardiologist. With multiple medical professionals in his family, he spent much of his youth learning alongside his uncles, who helped shape the path he would follow.
Beyond his family’s influence, Dr. Dukkipati chose cardiology for the meaningful impact it can have, especially in a close-knit community.
“I trained in New York where [the patient experience] can feel impersonal,” he says. “Here, you can actually see how your care impacts someone. You see how it impacts the family and the community. You get to see them often because you’re in a smaller town. It creates really tremendous professional gratitude.”
Dr. Dukkipati earned his medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in India before continuing his training in the United States. He is pleased to return to Quincy and Blessing Health System, where he previously served patients from 1999 to 2003.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching Formula 1 racing and a variety of other sports. He also likes traveling the world and learning the many facets of other cultures.
