Steve Billington, security systems coordinator, Blessing Hospital, has earned Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) SecAI+ certification, a credential focused on the secure implementation, management, and assessment of artificial intelligence technologies. As healthcare organizations continue to adopt AI-driven tools, this certification strengthens the ability of those responsible for healthcare organization security to evaluate emerging technologies, protect sensitive data, and manage evolving cybersecurity risks.

CompTIA is the largest vendor-neutral credentialing organization for technology workers, awarding over 3.6 million globally-recognized certifications to tech professionals across the full range of employers and industries.

In addition to his recently earned CompTIA certification, Billington also holds Security+ and Network+ certifications from the organization, and is actively pursuing two other CompTIA certifications.

He is also a Certified Health and Safety Officer (CHSO), from the International Board of Safety Professionals.

Billington joined Blessing in 2020 as an Emergency Center Security Officer, before assuming his role as Security Systems Coordinator in 2023. He worked for other organizations in law enforcement and security before joining Blessing Health System.
