Adison Otten, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Blessing Hospital, has successfully completed echo sonographer training and earned the credential of Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
The credential recognizes professionals demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality cardiovascular imaging services.
To earn the designation, Otten completed one year of on-the-job, passed an intensive two-week program known as the “Owen Brown Workshops in Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound,” and completed a course in Adult Echocardiography Registry Review through ESP Ultrasound. She then passed the national Registered Cardiac Sonographer examination administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Adison is a graduate of John Wood Community College where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Biology. Previously, she served as an EKG technician in Non-Invasive Cardiology at Blessing Hospital.
Otten's accomplishment reflects the dedication and hard work required to obtain nationally recognized credentials and reinforces Blessing's commitment to providing advanced cardiovascular care close to home.
