Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7.
Blessing Health System is hosting a free Medicare 101 educational presentation on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:30 am at the Kroc Center, 405 Vermont Street, Quincy.
The featured speaker will be Christian Fletcher, Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) trainer with the Illinois Department on Aging.
The presentation is designed to help attendees better understand Medicare and their coverage options so they can make informed healthcare decisions. It is intended for anyone age 64 or older, those currently enrolled in Medicare, Medicare Advantage or MMAI/D-SNP, as well as anyone assisting a loved one with Medicare or interested in learning more about available options.
No registration or reservation is required to attend. Those unable to attend the presentation can call Blessing Health System at 217-277-5000 for year-round assistance with Medicare-related questions.
