This is how Amy Henson’s wife, Jillian, describes her, “Someone who is fiercely loyal, who has a ginormous (sic) heart and is willing to care about others.” That passion and compassion caused Amy to put some important personal needs on hold recently. Over a short period of time Jillian’s mother became ill and passed away, Amy started a new job as a licensed clinical social worker with Blessing Health, and Jillian was diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer.

Mammographer Wins Who's Your Angel Award
Cathy Hummert, Mammographer, Breast Center Radiology Technologist, received a Who’s Your Angel nomination from fellow employee Carol Hulett, EVS Tech, Environmental Services. The Foundation Office presented the Who’s Your Angel award on May 1.
What should a prostate cancer screening include and when should screening begin?
Some providers do a blood test called a Prostate Specific Antigen test only (PSA). If a man’s PSA level trends up over time, it could be an indication of prostate cancer. Other providers order a PSA test and conduct a digital rectal exam (DRE). Blessing Health board-certified urologist William Severino, feels both tests deliver the most complete picture.
