Area hospitals form heart care partnership

Patients in the region served by McDonough District Hospital now have convenient access to advanced heart care provided by cardiologists of the Blessing Health System. Effective September 10, Drs. Steven Krause, Irving Schwartz and Eliot Nissenbaum, cardiologists, Blessing Physician Services, will see patients at the Macomb hospital three days a week.

Blessing Cancer Center retains national accreditation

The Blessing Cancer Center has again earned accreditation from The Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons, as the result of a recent survey. Blessing Hospital has held CoC accreditation since 1966.
