Blessing hosts open house at new ambulatory surgery center

The public is invited to see the new Blessing Health System Ambulatory Surgery Center on the campus of Blessing Hospital on Wednesday, August 18, between 4 and 6 pm, beginning with a ribbon cutting followed by tours of the facility. Parking is available in a lot in front of the new building at 12th and Spring Streets in Quincy. Those attending will need to wear masks.

Robert C. Johnson, MD, radiation oncologist, has joined the Blessing Cancer Center’s Radiation Oncology Department. Dr. Johnson is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Blessing Hospital reaches settlement agreement

The Department of Justice announced today that it has reached a $2.82 million settlement with Blessing Hospital. The settlement resulted from a voluntary disclosure made by Blessing Hospital to the Department of Justice after identifying that certain cardiac procedures performed at Blessing resulted in an overpayment.
