Blessing hosts second “Ladies’ Night”
After a successful inaugural event in 2023, Blessing Health invites all area women to attend the second “Ladies’ Night.” This evening of skin and beauty presentations, product discounts, giveaways and appetizers, will be held Thursday, September 5 between 5:30 and 7:30 pm at the Blessing Health Center, 4800 Maine in Quincy. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.

Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment begins Jan. 1
While the Medicare open enrollment period is over, the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (MA OEP) is open January 1–March 31, 2025. During this time, current Medicare Advantage enrollees can switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan, return to original Medicare, and/or add a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan.

Blessing moves weekend imaging and lab services for outpatients
People with a doctor’s order for an outpatient radiology or lab test at Blessing Health System, and who want to get their care on a weekend, now go to the Blessing Health Center 4800 Maine in Quincy instead of the Diagnostic Center at the Blessing Health Center 927 Broadway. The Diagnostic Center is now open Monday-Friday only.

Lesa Wiesemann, human resources retention manager, and Dena Dedert, compensation analyst, Human Resources, Blessing Hospital, have earned Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional status (SHRM-CP) by completing the course of study and successfully passing a four-hour examination.
United Way accepts donation from Blessing for 2021 campaign
Blessing Health System closed its fund drive to support the 2021 United Way of Adams County campaign on February 3 by presenting a check to United Way leaders for $110,000. The amount represents a corporate gift and employee donations.
