Grant will expand use of remote medical technology by Blessing Health System
Based on the growth and public acceptance of telemedicine and patient remote monitoring technologies experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, Blessing Health System has secured a federal grant to expand its use of those platforms.
Area hospitals form heart care partnership
Patients in the region served by McDonough District Hospital now have convenient access to advanced heart care provided by cardiologists of the Blessing Health System. Effective September 10, Drs. Steven Krause, Irving Schwartz and Eliot Nissenbaum, cardiologists, Blessing Physician Services, will see patients at the Macomb hospital three days a week.
