Pittsfield couple recovers with the help of COVID-19 outpatient treatment
For Pittsfield residents Robert and Sue Evans, a positive result from a COVID-19 test was a reason to worry.
“We both have underlying health conditions and we’ve heard about how COVID can affect individuals who have the same conditions we have,” Sue Evans said.

However, care delivered in two locations drew a high level of attention – the Blessing Hospital Emergency Center and the Blessing Express Clinic. In both places throughout the pandemic, crowds of people arrived daily for testing or care, or both.

Blessing offers free colorectal cancer screening kits in March
In recognition of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Blessing Health is providing free, take-home colorectal cancer screening kits to the public at locations in west central Illinois and northeast Missouri. The kits are available beginning Monday, March 2 and while supplies last.

Cathy Hummert, Mammographer, Breast Center Radiology Technologist, received a Who’s Your Angel nomination from fellow employee Carol Hulett, EVS Tech, Environmental Services. The Foundation Office presented the Who’s Your Angel award on May 1.
