No matter what product you buy, customer service makes up half the foundation of your experience. The other half is the outcome of the service you receive. Amanda Nash, LPN, dermatology, Blessing Health, was recognized recently for her role in completing the experience of a patient of board-certified and fellowship-trained Blessing Health dermatologist Dr. Elise Scoggin.
Amanda was recognized with the 85th Blessing Health System Honey Bee award for service provided by support staff that contributes to an exceptional patient experience and enhances the work environment.
Her nomination, submitted by the patient, stated: “During a follow-up visit, I was tearful about the outcome of a procedure to remove skin cancer. Even though it was late in the day, Amanda was very gentle, taking the time to sit with me, explain the healing timeline, and offering reassurance that things will improve.
She updated the doctor about my concerns, and I received a wonderful follow-up phone call from Dr. Scoggin. Thank you, Amanda, for being there for me and being an amazing nurse.”
