Blessing Health urologist Bradley Holland, MD has been named president of the Illinois Urological Society (IUS) following the organization's annual meeting August 14 and 15 in Springfield..
A board-certified urologist at Blessing Health, Dr. Holland specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urologic conditions. Known for his patient-centered approach, he believes in partnering with patients to help them understand their condition and treatment options before making healthcare decisions together.
"This society is important to me," said Holland. "It is incredibly beneficial to have face-to-face meetings with other urologists to make sure we stay on the cutting edge of urologic therapies. To properly care for our patients, I want them to have all safe and effective treatment options available. I also believe our patients deserve an advocate to lobby for coverage, care, and the issues that matter most to them."
"As president, I lead the society throughout the year and at the annual meeting," he added. "Together, we develop an educational program for conditions we see every day—conditions our patients here in the tri-states face every day. Our goal is to bring back new and exciting options for our patients. We also review and educate members on changes at the state and federal levels to determine where our resources and influence can best be used."
Dr. Holland's election as president places a Blessing physician at the helm of one of Illinois' premier medical organizations and highlights the expertise available to patients right here in the tri-state area.
