Jennifer Seals, MBA, data analyst, Health Information Management department, Blessing Health System, retires on March 20 after 24 years of service.

Seals began her Blessing career as a transcriptionist. In 2008, she became one of the health system’s first six financial account specialists. In 2010, Seals became a data analyst, the position from which she retires.

“I take a great deal of pride in my 24 years of service to Blessing Health System,” she said. “It is rewarding to know that my small contribution, combined with the efforts of so many other caring and talented employees, made a positive impact in the lives of the patients and families that we served.”

Seals' healthcare career spans nearly 40 years, beginning in 1988 when she was employed by Quincy Clinic/Quincy Medical Group, and then with Franciscan Family Care in Tacoma, Washington, for whom she worked from 1991 until the time she joined Blessing in 2002.

Seals is a member of the American Health Information Management Association, the Healthcare Data and Analytics Association, and a Senior Health Insurance Program counselor with the Illinois Department on Aging.

She is a resident of Camp Point.
