Blessing Hospice is proud to bring back its Butterfly Moments community event, coming up on Sunday, August 16.
Join us at the Moorman Park Large Shelter, located off North 39th Street in Quincy, as we celebrate the lives and memories of those we have loved and lost. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., with the reading of names and release of butterflies to remember our loved ones, scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Live music and kids' activities will be available, along with light refreshments.
Cost is $10 per butterfly. This event will be held rain or shine. If the individual reserving the butterfly cannot attend, the butterfly will be released by a member of the Blessing Hospice staff. In the event of rain, those reserving butterflies will come to Moorman Park and pick up their butterfly to release at their own time when the weather clears. This event is open to anyone in the community who wishes to remember a loved one, regardless if they have received hospice care.
