About Me
Dr. Arshid loves being a doctor. He knows patients have choices about where they go to get their healthcare. So, he strives to bring something special to the bedside.
“Providers often say we know what a patient is going through. But it is not us in the bed. I connect with my patients by listening. I think that is one of the most important things a doctor can do, be a compassionate, sympathetic listener.”
“I was drawn to medicine because I like to interact with people and I am a team player. Medicine came easily to me.”
“I chose neurology as my specialty because the brain is the most intricate and delicate part of the human body. It controls everything.”
Dr. Arshid says his father is his role model because he came from a difficult background, earned his own money to go to school and then made personal sacrifices to educate his four children.
“My father is who I look up to and who I aim to be in the future.”
When not at the bedside, Dr. Arshid enjoys hiking and kayaking and is always ready to play a pick-up soccer game.
