Blessing Hospital organ and tissue donation efforts earn national recognition
For the second year in a row, Blessing Hospital and its Life Team have been awarded Platinum recognition from the federal Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) and Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network for “saving and healing lives by encouraging their employees and communities to register as organ, eye and tissue donors” through the National Hospital Organ Donation Campaign.

Blessing Hospital Diagnostic and Imaging has earned a three-year term of accreditation in 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) after a review by the American College of Radiology (ACR), earning the organization’s gold seal of accreditation representing the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
Blessing Hospital to use state grant for new programs to improve at-risk pregnancy outcomes
Blessing Hospital is among 12 organizations in Illinois that has received a portion of $4.5 million in grants, through the state’s Birth Equity Initiative, to decrease pregnancy-related complications and deaths. Blessing received a $400,000 grant.
