Update: All Clear on Lockdown of Blessing Hospital at 11th Street
The lockdown of Blessing Hospital’s 11th Street campus and the Blessing Health Center has been lifted. The threat has been resolved and those entering the buildings will no longer be screened.
Blessing donation comes just in time for summer at Jackson-Lincoln Pool
Ready for summer! Blessing Health System presented representatives of the Jackson-Lincoln Swimming Complex with a check for $14,391.63 at the organization's annual meeting Friday, March 22, 2019. The donation covers $8,391.64 needed to replace the pool's pump and $6,000 to fund a Family Swim Night each week during the summer of 2019. Presenting the check at left and center are Chaka Jordan, vice president, Marketing & Planning and Patrick Gerveler, executive vice president/chief financial officer, Blessing Health System. Accepting the check at right is Helen Bumbry, Jackson-Lincoln Swimming Complex board member and wife of the late Ben Bumbry, long-time Complex executive director.
Progress Care Unit nurse receives DAISY Award
Angie Buss RN, Progressive Care Unit, Blessing Hospital, became the 45th Blessing nurse to receive the international DAISY Award during a ceremony on November 25.
