Clocks spring forward an hour Sunday, March 8. As Daylight Saving Time arrives, people are encouraged to check batteries in their smoke detectors. In addition, it’s important for those responsible for Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in publicly used buildings including businesses and stores, schools, clinics and churches, to check those potentially life-saving devices.

What should a prostate cancer screening include and when should screening begin?

Some providers do a blood test called a Prostate Specific Antigen test only (PSA). If a man’s PSA level trends up over time, it could be an indication of prostate cancer. One CDC-approve tactic is the use of cloth masks over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) N95 masks to extend the life of the masks.
