Area patients receiving letters from insurance plans in error

Some area residents who see Blessing Health providers for their healthcare are receiving letters from their insurance plans stating that their provider is out-of-network. Those letters are being sent in error.

CRNAs: Providing exceptional care to Blessing patients

January 22-28, 2023, is National Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Week. CRNAs are registered nurses who have received additional education and national certification in anesthesia care.  CRNAs are part of the care team helping to provide pain control for Blessing Health patients, including surgical patients.

First outpatient RN receives DAISY Award

Ashley Sherwood, RN, Cardiology, became the first registered nurse from a Blessing Health outpatient department to receive the international DAISY award during a ceremony on February 26, 2024, for her extraordinary nursing care.

ER nurse earns DAISY award

Michelle Smith, RN, Emergency Center, became the 94th Blessing Hospital nurse to receive the international DAISY award for her extraordinary nursing care during a ceremony on March 29, 2024.

OB nurse earns DAISY award

Sophia Bichsel, RN, Blessed Beginnings, became the 95th Blessing Hospital nurse to receive the international DAISY award for her extraordinary nursing care during a ceremony on April 24, 2024.
