Silman, quality coordinator, Blessing Home Care, has met the requirements to retain her Certificate for OASIS Specialist – Clinical (COS-C) designation for another three-year period.

Blessing Hospital earns national four-star rating
The care and service provided by Blessing Hospital earned an annual overall rating of four out of five stars among the 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals in the country. The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the rating through its “Hospital Compare” program.

In order to meet the demand for a particular category of employee, Blessing Hospital has established a new certified nurse assistant (CNA) training program, offered at no cost to those hired by the hospital to be nursing assistants.
Two births, one difference: Chiropractic care
After 28 hours of labor with her first child, Elyn, Chelsey Graham did not reach the point where she could push, and underwent a C-section. “That was never part of the plan,” Chelsey said. “Of course, I don’t think many people plan to have surgery at the last minute. But that’s what happened,” Graham said.
