PREVIOUS HOSPITAL AND FOOD SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

Current Illinois Sanitation License must be obtained within first 90 days.

• Check and verify all beverages, hot foods, cold foods and condiments on the patient tray and loads the tray into the delivery cart.

• Communicate with Production staff concerning any issues with food items being served for Room Service.

This position is responsible for assisting cashier, waiting and busing tables, food preparation and service, cleaning dishes and maintaining a sanitary work area in the Tea Room.

This position is responsible for receiving supplies and equipment, requisition fulfillment, distribution and transportation of supplies to departments, between campuses and storeroom, inventory control and maintenance, as well as occasional warehouse duties.

Responsible for the delivery of bulk clean linen to customers and the pick-up of bulk soiled linen. Operates medium and heavyweight trucks. Loads, transports and unloads other materials and supplies. Generally works in a vehicle with climate controls; sometimes works in an air-conditioned laundry; occasionally works in the outdoors while loading and unloading carts.
