About Me
Pike County, Illinois, native Erin Little’s journey to pain management nurse practitioner began with an incident that occurred before she was born.
“My dad was in a rollover tractor accident at the age of 17. As a child, I watched him spend a lifetime dealing with his pain. He never got the help for it that he needed. So many times, my dad would want to go fishing and he couldn’t because his back hurt.”
“The appeal of pain management to me is to keep that from happening to other people. People don’t have to resign themselves to suffering and pain for the rest of their lives. There are so many things we can do for pain, that do not require medications, to improve a person’s quality of life so they can do the things they want to do.”
When not helping people manage their pain, or attending an event with one of her five children, you may find Erin in her home studio making pottery.
“I like creating. I like making pretty and functional things people can use.”
