Blessing Health System is following federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for health systems across the country to implement tactics to conserve the use of PPE. One CDC-approve tactic is the use of cloth masks over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) N95 masks to extend the life of the masks. Individuals and organizations are now contacting Blessing Health System to volunteer to sew the cloth masks.

Amy Land, social services case worker, Care Coordination, Blessing Hospital/Blessing Health Hannibal, earned the 70th Honey Bee award during a surprise presentation on July 24. The Blessing Hospital Honey Bee award recognizes the exceptional service provided by support staff.
Remembering Meleah
Meleah Flynn’s husband and three daughters recently stopped by Blessing Hospital to see her name, which had been added to the memorial wall in the Blessing Cancer Center for donations received in her memory. Meleah passed away July 7, 2021, at the age of 54 after a two-year battle with stage 4 colon cancer.
