Blessing Health System President and CEO Maureen Kahn is issuing the following statement on today’s Health Facilities and Services Review Board decision to approve Blessing Hospital’s Certificate of Need application to relocate and modernize the current Ambulatory Surgery Center:

More single bed patient rooms are coming to Blessing Hospital. On Tuesday, July 24, the State of Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board approved Blessing’s plan to finish the fourth floor of its Moorman Pavilion building and add a 5th and 6th floor to it.
