Blessing Foundation Caring Club Funds Assist Local Family after Fire
Donors to the Blessing Foundation Caring Club recently helped a family who lost everything, but the clothes on their backs, in a house fire.
The family has a young daughter who requires a wheelchair that was destroyed in the fire. The Blessing Foundation learned of this tragedy from a concerned community member.
Who's Your Angel Award - Dr. Kurtis Stewart
Kurtis Stewart, M.D., Bariatric Surgery/Medicine, Blessing Bariatric Institute, received a Who’s Your Angel nomination from Tracy Armstrong, chaplain, Volunteer Services. The Blessing Foundation presented the Who’s Your Angel certificate and angel wings pin award to Dr. Stewart on February 17.
Donor specialist’s empathy and networking skills lead to Excellence award
A 78-year-old woman is enjoying her weekly bingo games much more these days thanks to the work of Pam Frericks, donor services specialist, Blessing Foundation. Pam received the Blessing Health ICARE Excellence award based on a nomination submitted by her department administrative director, Ann Awerkamp Dickson. The award was presented during a surprise presentation on October 23, 2024.
