Current Illinois Sanitation License must be obtained within first 90 days.

The Host Clerks are responsible for a variety of patient and non-patient tasks in the call center, tray line, nursing unit, and kitchen as assigned. These tasks include:
For Non-Patient Host Clerks
• Check and verify all beverages, hot foods, cold foods and condiments on the patient tray and loads the tray into the delivery cart.
• Communicate with Production staff concerning any issues with food items being served for Room Service.

This position is responsible for assisting cashier, waiting and busing tables, food preparation and service, cleaning dishes and maintaining a sanitary work area in the Tea Room.

The housekeeper partners with Infection Prevention and other areas in the hospital to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for patients and staff. A housekeeper will utilize the appropriate cleaning products and processes to reduce spread of disease(s).

Responsible for the delivery of bulk clean linen to customers and the pick-up of bulk soiled linen. Operates medium and heavyweight trucks. Loads, transports and unloads other materials and supplies. Generally works in a vehicle with climate controls; sometimes works in an air-conditioned laundry; occasionally works in the outdoors while loading and unloading carts.
