Joanna began her health care career in 1992. She has been serving patients at the Illini Xpress Clinic and the Illini Rural Health Clinic since 2015.

“I enjoy caring for others and this is the reason I became part of healthcare. I furthered my nursing career by becoming a nurse practitioner to better serve the patients I see and empower them to take control of their health and the health of their family.” 

“As a Family Nurse Practitioner I am able to care for all ages of patients. I truly enjoy the diversity of family practice and partnering with the patients for better health outcomes”. Joanna also is DOT certified and has a special interest in Women’s Health. 

She lives in Quincy with her husband Gary of 30 years. They have one daughter Jessica who is a teacher in the Griggsville-Perry School District. Spending time with family and friends is an enjoyment as is music and motorcycle riding. Joanna is currently accepting new patients.
