Experience the Denman Difference: Adaptive Mobility Systems

We know your independence is important to you, and our staff is ready to help. We offer:

  • Qualified staff: The AMS store manager holds several certifications, including Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) and Certified Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (CRTS). Our manager has advanced training in rehabilitation technology and maintains these certifications through continuing education. AMS is a member of the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) and Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America (RESNA). Both of these organizations are well respected in the mobility industry – they recommend only providers with CRTS accreditation.

  • Custom solutions: Instead of recommending standardized equipment, we meet with you to learn about your specific needs. We then create the right solution for you. You and your loved ones will receive customized products that we have designed specifically for you, including:

    • Power wheelchairs for children, adults and seniors

    • Scooters

    • Van lifts

    • Ramps

    • Standing frames

    • Stair lifts

    • Free standing or ceiling lifts

  • Reputable products:  We work with you and your healthcare providers to ensure you get the most beneficial products. We offer:

    • Permobil, Invacare and Sunrise Medical’s Quickie and Jay wheelchairs, scooters and accessories

    • Altimate Medical standers

    • Bruno stair lifts

    • Ride Designs wheelchair accessories

    • Prism Medical lifts (free standing and ceiling mounted)

  • Coordination with therapists: We begin the process with an in-person consultation to assess what you need. For wheelchair evaluations, we always include an independent physical therapist or occupational therapist, as well as your doctor. The therapist also comes along when we deliver your chair to make sure it fits your needs and you understand how to use all the options.

  • On-site setup and repair: We help design and install equipment for your home or vehicle. We also provide maintenance and repair. We understand that your mobility equipment needs to be working optimally to ensure your day-to-day independence.

  • Billing services: To save you time and frustration, we take care of direct billing to your health insurance, HMO, Medicare or Medicaid.
