Ear, Nose and Throat Diagnosis

Depending on your symptoms, you may undergo one or more diagnostic tests as our specialists work to identify the cause. Common tests we perform include:

  • Laryngeal scope is a noninvasive procedure that allows doctors to view your larynx and voice box with a scope.

  • Blood tests can give doctors clues to what is causing your symptoms, such as enlarged lymph nodes.

  • Hearing tests can effectively evaluate a range of hearing and balance symptoms.

  • Imaging tests, such as CT, can help doctors diagnose thyroid or other head and neck cancers.

  • Biopsy lets your doctor take a tissue sample to analyze. We offer sedation and anesthesia so you will be comfortable during the procedure. A biopsy can help diagnose thyroid cancer.
