Full-service surgical center: Our experienced teams use the latest equipment to provide a wide range of surgery services. From complex procedures such as open-heart surgery, bariatric, and minimally invasive hernia procedures, Blessing has the experts for you. Minimally invasive surgeries: Our skilled surgeons and teams have years of expertise in performing many surgeries through tiny incisions. Minimally invasive techniques can help reduce pain, minimize blood loss, reduce the risk of complications and shorten recovery times.
Outpatient choices: You do not need to stay overnight in the hospital for many surgical procedures. Outpatient surgery is quick and allows you to go home after you recover from the anesthesia. For your convenience, we perform outpatient surgeries at Blessing Hospital Surgical Department and the Blessing Surgery Center.

That’s why we are a proud member of the American College of Surgeons’ National Surgical Quality Improvement Program® (ACS NSQIP) and the Illinois Surgical Quality Improvement Collaborative (ISQIC). Advanced technologies: We invest in the latest imaging and diagnostic technologies so that we can provide accurate diagnoses for treatment planning. Surgical teams with advanced training: Many of our surgeons and anesthesiologists have fellowship training, which is 1 to 2 years of additional, focused training in their specialty. Other team members, including nurses, anesthetists and technicians, also have additional, specialized training in their fields. Your surgical team is highly trained and will provide you with the excellent care you expect.

As part of Blessing Health System, several procedures are available at our Illini Community Hospital facility in Pittsfield.
