Cancer survivors and their loved ones are invited to join the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center team in Quincy on Friday, June 5, to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day 2026. The event will take place between 1 - 3 pm in the parking lot at 11th and College Streets. There is no cost to attend the event. Cancer survivors and their loved ones from across the region – no matter where they were treated – are invited to attend.

Come and enjoy the event where survivors can create a memory by painting a rock or a canvas bag. Along with snacks and refreshments, renewing old friendships and making new ones, the event will feature games and a photo opportunity.

“There are more than 18 million cancer survivors across the country” said Robert Johnson, MD, board-certified radiation oncologist and Blessing Cancer Center Medical Director. “Cancer Survivor Day events provide a way for these exceptional people to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them.”
