Outpatient speech therapy services are offered at our main campus. Blessing patients can receive outpatient physical and occupational therapy services through ADVANCE Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine’s Quincy locations. For added convenience, patients can also receive outpatient physical therapy at East Adams Rural Health Clinic in Golden, Illinois, about 45 minutes from Blessing’s main campus.
Physical Therapy Services
Outpatient physical therapy is designed to provide rehabilitation services that restore function and prevent disability through:
- Therapeutic exercise
- Physical agent methods, such as heat, ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Manual therapy techniques
Physical therapy services available include:
- Wound care, including total contact casting
- Women’s health, including pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation
- Chronic pain treatment
- Cancer rehabilitation
- Orthopedic rehabilitation, such as joint replacement and sports-specific injuries
- Arthritis treatment
- Pelvic floor and incontinence treatment
