The multidisciplinary team offers a wide array of medical and surgical treatment options for bone and soft tissue tumors. These treatments are often coupled with chemotherapy before surgery to shrink a tumor, or after surgery to destroy any remaining cancer cells.
Orthopedic experts work closely with your medical oncologist and radiation oncologist as well as the team of pathologists, radiologists, specialized caregivers, and your primary care provider to develop an individualized treatment plan.
This multidisciplinary and collaborative approach ensures that diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of bone and soft tissues can be treated close to home with the most advanced techniques available.
